CHUCKED OUT - FOR CELEBRATING?
By some minor miracle, one of my chums won a competition at his club at the weekend!
Being a supporter of golf - a bit of a face really! - I popped down to support him. When the result was not in doubt, as he was 3 shots to the good playing the last, I nipped in the clubhouse and purchased the cheapest fizzy plonk they had on offer. When he holed the final putt, I gave it a shake and then him a good soaking - a la Thomas Levet - he even went down on the green to mimic the celebration! Great stuff!
Apparently not!
A minute later, the club secretary approached me and basically said, "What the bloody 'ell did you think you were playing at?" He then chucked me out and asked me never to return!
What an egg!!!
Anyway, it got me thinking. Do you have any rules at the club you play at that you don't like? I've started a forum -
HAVE YOUR SHOUT!
