MCGOWAN AND FISHER FEATURE WELL AGAIN
Both Ross McGowan and Oli Fisher played well in the tough conditions in India.
The poor scoring showed again that golf courses can be defended by being tight rather than ridculously long. Only just 7000 yards, the course played very tough on all days of the competition and produced an unlikely home-town winner from a strong field.
Of more interest to us is the form of the two young guns. McGowan especially is proving to be very competitive at this level in his first year, while Fisher is highly consistent in his performances. They have reached 25th and 45th in the order of merit respectively.
