TIGER IS COMING! CAN THE EUROPEAN TOUR TAME HIM?
Woods arrives in Dubai to take on the best of our tour and I predict a fairly obvious outcome - he will destroy the field.
Woods is from a different planet! He will see this event as a way to show those players he doesn't meet on a regular basis just who is boss. It also gives him the opportunity to remind the likes of Ernie Els that they are at best, second best ahead of the major championships.
It is my humble opinion that we have to wait for a young gun to topple Tiger. The great form of Rose and Scott coud indicate a worthwhile challenge through the season but even these two under 30's have plenty of baggage mentally when considering if they could beat the number 1.
So what of the young guns? English duo Ross McGowan and Oliver Fisher have started the season the best - both inside the top 50 of the money list. McGowan narrowly misssed playing himself into Dubai by finishing one shot outside the top ten, whereas Fisher's highly consistent form through the last 3 tournaments suggests a challenge for a title isn't far away.
