AUSSIE RULES! - SCOTT TOO HOT IN DESERT

What a blitz from young Australian Adam Scott! Starting with 5 birdies, he continued to chew up the Doha course relentlessly until finishing on 11 under and the winner by 3 shots from Henrik Stenson.

It was a joy to watch on the tele! He never changed attitude or even facial expression - just kept on producing great iron shots and positive parts. He drew many plaudits from the Sky commentary team - that is when they weren't talking about the Ryder Cup (get used to it - it will go on all year)

This was an indication that the world rankings may be more accurate than you might expect. Thought to be quite biased towards PGA Tour players, Scott demolition of the field and course showed he is fully entitled to be a top ten player, even without winning too frequently.
